OUR POLICIES

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

No Refunds on services/rentals after the 3rd day post booking. 50% Refund on any paid in full services, venue rental fee, excluding equipment, up to

3 days after booking. No refunds thereafter. An additional

25% administrative fee may be assessed if props or custom items are ordered.

Date and time changes are allowed (if the requested date/time is available), if the event is re-booked within 90 days. A $250.00

re-booking fee will be assessed.. No refunds on Deposits if an event is canceled after the 24-hour booking period.

No Refunds on specials and promotions.

PAYMENT DATES & PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS (POST DEPOSITS)

All payments are to be made on the due date agreed. A courtesy 48 hour grace period is given. If payments are made after 48 hours of the payment due date, a 10% late fee will be added to the amount owed and an additional $5 per day thereafter. If late fees are not paid by or before 10 days prior to the event date, the event date will be canceled and no refunds will be issued.

BOOKINGS & DEPOSITS

To secure the event date and book, there is a required 65% deposit of the entire rental total to include all fees, bartender gratuities and added services.

The remaining balance is due thirty days prior to the initial event date. Please see the PAYMENT DATES & PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS section for post deposit  payments policies.

Please note that date(s) are not secured until the 65% deposit has been satisfied.

SECURITY & DAMAGE LIABILITY DEPOSIT $300.00 USD

Security deposits are refunded  7 to 14 business days post event.

If damage is caused due to misuse or damage cause by rental furniture to include, scratches and/or damage to walls, floors, venue appliances, equipment, wall dings, decorative items and or any other damage that occurs due to faulty equipment or damage caused by an individual or vendor/their staff, the security deposit will not be fully refunded. The cost for the damaged items and/or facility damage will be deducted from the security deposit, If the damage exceeds the deposit amount the renter solely and/or third party vendor will be liable for the balance remaining.

Third Party Vendors (Event Planners, Event Decorators, DJ's/Entertainment, Caterers and their Staff are responsible /liable for any damages to the facility & must sign a policies acknowledgment form)

ADVERTISING AND MEDIA

All promotional items, vendor showing announcements, and event flyers must be approved by The Candela Bar Event Venue management prior to releasing to the public.

The Candela Bar has the right to use any/all footage, social media,  announcements, videos and pictures for marketing and/or advertising purposes.

CATERERS & FOOD

All Caterers/Catering Companies must be insured with the required licenses to operate in the state of GA.

Proof of GA State licensing & compliance must be provided.

You may provide your own food. It is not required to use our catering services.

 

VENUE FURNITURE & DECOR

We do not remove the facility furniture, outdoor furniture, pictures, decor, and/or window coverings, off the premises..

(Tables & seating can be rearranged to meet your specific space needs)

*In the event any of the above mentioned items need to be removed an additional charge may be assessed to accommodate these such requests.

CLEANING FEE $125.00 (MANDATORY)

This includes trash removal and sanitizing.

Renter is responsible for bagging their trash, sweeping all debris and restoring the facility to its pre-event state.

 

ALCOHOL & BEVERAGE NOTICE

It is required that alcoholic beverages be served by The Candela Bar bartending staff.

No outside alcohol is allowed on the premises.

All beverages, to include non-alcoholic beverages will be provided by the venue, unless otherwise agreed by management.

YOU MUST BE OF STATE LEGAL AGE TO BE SERVED & CONSUME ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

The Candela Bar staff has the right to request age verification.

Non compliance of these rules WILL result in the forfeiture of your venue security deposit or event shut down and no refunds will be administered.

 

BARTENDER GRATUITY

*20% gratuity is added to all Open Bar Tabs/funding.

Cash Bar Tips are at each guest/ drink purchasers discretion.

TOBACCO 

Please contact us directly for information regarding our Tobacco policies 

 

SECURITY may be required to be onsite if alcohol is being served. 

At Venue Managers discretion (additional security fee applied)

DRESS CODE

Dress code enforced for certain  events

SAFETY IS OUR #1 GOAL

Venue has the right to cancel at anytime if event deems unsafe.

No Refunds will be administered.

 

APPOINTMENT GUIDELINES

If an appointment is scheduled to view the space there is a 15 minute grace period, after that your appointment may be canceled and need to be rescheduled.

If you can not make your scheduled appointment time, we ask that you call ahead of time as a common courtesy to notify us.
